US Registered Nurse Requirements

On-boarding process. What do I expect when I finally arrive in the US?
From the moment you arrive at a Florida airport, UCI takes care of you like you belong to our family. You will stay at UCI guest house in Delray Beach, Florida during the monthlong (estimate) period of on-boarding process. Lodging for the applicant only is free.
First up is to establish your identity in this country. Assistance in securing your Social Security Card, driver license and professional license are on top of the to-do list of UCI Process Specialists in boarding you for the job assignment.
Process Specialists assist you in opening bank accounts and credit cards from a commercial bank and/or credit union. UCI is a select organization of a financial institution, a privilege which extends to UCI employees when they get bank loan for car purchase. Housing options are made available— room rent or apartment, furnished or unfurnished.
Orientation and training are set up to prepare you for the job. Consultants sit down with you to share the best clinical practices in your field and specialty. Long-time US residents spend time with you and offer practical tips about American living and culture.
You must be on top in completing licensing and specialty-focused certifications. To bring it a notch faster, you need to complete in timely manner the online assessments and modules, and medical and credentialing requirements.
The big breathing moment is when your UCI Process Specialist declares that you are cleared to start your job assignment. Facility clearance is a precondition for a start date. For you to reach this magical milestone, you need to be fully compliant of the onboarding processes described above.
What do I expect when I get deployed to my job assignment?
Once cleared, we immediately process to transport you to your jobsite. Instructions and guidelines are provided for your safe and smooth travel to the job location. The US has various and reliable modes of transportation to any point of destination in the country.
